Alright, now that you understand a little more about what custom search engines are, how can you use it to collaborate with other teacher bloggers and sellers?
Once you are added to a group CSE, make sure to use it to its fullest potential. If everyone has their sites added and then no one actually uses the results to help one another cross-promote, it doesn’t serve a purpose to even be added.
Keep in mind: No one sees these search results except those who have the link, so it’s not like it’s helping your public google search results just by being a part of a custom search engine. BUT – if everyone who is part of the CSE actually uses it to work together, you can all grow your online presence much faster, which will inadvertently grow your google organic search positions and your social media accounts at the same time.
2 – Have a similar topic as someone else which would complement one another? Contact the blogger of the other post and find out whether they are up for a link exchange.
3 – Find out who has similar products (from related blog posts) and partner up to make a product bundle. Market to both audiences and split the profits.
4 – Find other bloggers in your niche to contact and partner up with for a blog hop or IG loop.
5 – Need a blog post idea? Pop it into the search and do a round-up of ideas from other bloggers. Start with the images to see what you can share in your post.
NOTE: you may use ONE picture from their blog post, but make SURE the picture and any text link back to the direct blog post where the original lives. It does not help SEO and search engine results in the main Google search engine if you aren’t linking back to the specific original post.
Plus, you can quite likely anger other bloggers for pilfering their content without consent. Typically one image as long as it links back is acceptable.
